Or maybe a series where there WEREN’T millions of years of war beforehand. Maybe Megatron gains power and followers way more quickly than anyone expected, stages a coup, and takes over before anyone can stop him.
And then, of course, goes on to build this horrible, oppressive Decepticon regime, and an Autobot resistance group is born out of that.

Beast Machines would have been fine on its own, but as a sequel to Beast Wars I was just so disappointed. I liked the way Cheetor developed, but I pretty much just hated everyone else. Especially because Beast Wars was SO great…
